Polo di Lecco organizes free training workshops on life skills and professional topics for students who want to enrich their university experience. The goal is to form well-rounded professionals and emerging leaders who can bring practical cross-disciplinary skills to their future jobs.
The Center for Leadership Development offers co-curricular workshops aimed at obtaining a Leadership Certificate. Along with attending training sessions, students also serve their community or campus by volunteering for a minimum of 20 hours. Some examples of the areas covered in the workshops are:
- improving communication techniques
- team-building strategies
- awareness and development of soft-skills that can be practiced during the academic years and in future professional environments
- exploring theories and styles of modern leadership
