The lab integrates and combines skills, experiences, and capabilities in design and development in the fields of artificial intelligence, embedded intelligent systems, and the Internet-of-Things. These are leading research topics with extremely high impact in the industrial world, automation, and services. These themes have been addressed within the laboratory for years, yielding significant results in both the advancement of scientific research and the implementation of industrial research and technology transfer (with many projects involving both SMEs and large companies). Given the strongly interdisciplinary skills, the AI-Tech Research Lab - WEmSy has been collaborating for years with numerous laboratories at the Polo di Lecco, thus creating a network of expertise capable of attracting research and industrial projects.
