The laboratory is equipped to create physical models of projects represented using drawing software. The purpose of the laboratory is to experiment and develop the use of rapid prototyping machines in the creation of models of architecture, landscapes, territories, design objects and also for the world of small production.
As part of the research, the laboratory's activity deals with verifying the methods and limits of use of prototyping machines in reference to the different types of projects, the degree of descriptive detail required, the transformation, transfer and format of the software of drawing.
