The laboratory, is concerned with the functional assessment of healthy, athletic, and disabled subjects. The sports theme is the focus of our research lines, which are particularly devolved to:
- sports biomechanics and human movement analysis
- sports injury prevention
- effect of perturbations on human balance and locomotion
- study of athletic and motor-cognitive performance
We collaborate with some national and international universities to study biomechanical and cognitive risk factors for sports injuries. We also interact with multiple sports entities (clubs and federations) for biomechanical and metabolic assessment sessions with youth, national, and international-level athletes.
