OpenLab is a 60-square-meter equipped space created to augment the application and experimental activities of the Bachelor of Industrial Production Engineering (IPI) and Master of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) degree programs. Students work in teams experimenting and carrying out exercises assigned by faculty members. Access to the lab is free, with students tasked with organizing their own time and independently planning the stages of the design activities, within the deadlines assigned to them. Once in the laboratory, under the supervision of a technical supervisor, students have everything they need to carry out various activities: prototyping, observations on metals and processing technologies, measurements and data acquisition, autonomous installation of components and technologies on real industrial systems.
